Message from the Representative Directors

Building the Infrastructure for Better Relationships

giftee Inc. began with giftee, a casual gifting service for individuals. Since then, we have expanded our business around our eGift platform, extending our reach to corporations, local governments, and international markets. Particularly since our IPO in 2019, we have rapidly scaled our platform through entry into new business domains and the acquisition of companies that share our vision.

As we grew, however, we also faced a challenge common to expanding organizations: the increasing dispersion of management resources and focus. To move confidently into our next stage of growth, we made the decision to transition to a holding company structure as a significant organizational transformation.

This evolution of the giftee Group is far more than a corporate reorganization. It is a strategic step designed to strengthen our foundation for sustainable growth and long-term value creation. As a holding company, we will enhance group-wide strategy, capital allocation, and investment governance, while leading the growth of the entire organization. At the same time, each operating company will be empowered to make faster, more agile decisions at the forefront of its respective market, accelerating business execution and innovation.

Alongside this transformation, we have established a new purpose:

To enrich every relationship in the world, and create new ones.

Through gifts, we have fostered meaningful connections among people, businesses, and communities. Going forward, we will broaden our focus from gifts alone to relationships themselves. Rather than being limited to gifting as a means, we aspire to become the infrastructure that reduces friction across all forms of connection, creates new points of engagement, and inspires positive behavioral change.

What we seek to achieve will not be easy. Every summit we reach reveals another beyond it. Our journey resembles a traverse across a mountain range—a continuous series of challenges and opportunities. Yet within those mountains lie vast untapped markets and possibilities. To continue this journey, we rely on the diverse talents, perspectives, and expertise of our people. We are committed to building an organization where every individual can bring their unique strengths to the table and take on ambitious challenges together.

Through transparent management and sustainable growth, we will continue working alongside all of our stakeholders to enhance our corporate value over the long term.

Evolving Our Management Operating System to Build the Infrastructure for Relationships

The establishment of giftee Group, Inc. is far more than a corporate restructuring. It represents a fundamental redesign of our management operating system—one that is intended to support our next phase of growth and development.

Over the years, giftee has rapidly expanded and diversified its businesses around its eGift platform. As we grew, however, we recognized that mature businesses requiring disciplined execution as a public company and emerging businesses that thrive through experimentation and exploration operate under fundamentally different conditions. Each requires a different kind of gravity.

Rather than forcing these different dynamics to coexist within a single organization, we concluded that creating a structure in which each business can leverage its own strengths would better position us for long-term growth.

At the heart of this transformation is the optimization of that gravity.

Under our new structure, the operating companies will focus on driving short-term growth with speed, discipline, and customer-centric execution at the front lines of their respective markets. Meanwhile, the holding company will concentrate on longer-term responsibilities, including group strategy, capital and talent allocation, and the exploration of new business opportunities.

While each company operates independently within its market, they will remain connected through shared assets, knowledge, and capabilities across the Group. Together, we will tackle challenges of a scale that no single company could address alone. This is the organizational model we aspire to build.

At the same time, we have established a new purpose:

To enrich every relationship in the world, and create new ones.

Relationships have always been at the core of what we do. Historically, we created value by delivering “magic moments”—moments of joy, gratitude, celebration, and connection through gifts.

As we continued responding to evolving market needs, however, our role expanded beyond gifting itself. Today, we are increasingly enabling relationships among companies and employees, governments and citizens, communities and individuals. Through gifting as a communication protocol—a catalyst for human connection—we are evolving from delivering moments to building the operating system that supports and strengthens relationships.

The challenges facing society today are becoming increasingly complex, and it is difficult for any one company to solve them alone. Yet by combining the diverse capabilities of our group companies and strategic partners who share our vision, we can create value that would otherwise be impossible to achieve independently.

Looking ahead, giftee Group will continue to maximize the collective strengths of the entire Group, balancing immediate problem-solving with long-term value creation. Through this approach, we remain committed to sustainable growth and the continuous enhancement of our corporate value.
